In June 2022, registered voters in the United States were asked if they supported a law that would increase competition in mobile computing by preventing app stores from requiring app developers to use the app store’s own payment processor rather than another form of payment. Overall, male respondents expressed a slightly more favorable opinion on the matter, compared to their female counterparts.
