Demand for Triumph motorcycles in the United Kingdom bottomed out in February 2021 and peaked in March 2024 with 1,968 monthly sales. Triumph is among the largest motorcycle manufacturers based in the United Kingdom, and the revenue for Triumph is projected to reach US$125m in 2024. In September 2024, there were some 1,180 new Triumph motorcycles on the road in the UK.

Triumph’s financial performance

Triumph Motorcycles Limited was established in 1983, after buying the naming rights to the Triumph brand, which had been part of the UK motor vehicle family since it began production in 1889. Triumph generated 502.25 million British pounds in revenue in its 2021 fiscal year, an increase of over 100 million compared to its 2020 turnover of 399 million.

Honda is the UK's best-selling brand

Honda has been the United Kingdom's best-selling motorcycle brand for several years straight. The Japanese producer sold roughly two and a half times as many motorcycles as Triumph to British consumers in 2021. That same year, Triumph came in fourth, after the German BMW, sold around 9,000 units.
