Average time per day spent by online users on social media in Africa as of Febraury 2025, by selected country (in hours.minutes)

Based on an online survey, Kenyans spent the most time on social media on the African continent. As of February 2025, they spent, on average, * hours and ** minutes on different social media platforms. South Africans and Nigerians followed, spending * hours and 36 minutes and * hours and 23 minutes on social media, respectively.
