Share of Gen Z whose media consumption increased since the outbreak of Covid in the US and in the UK in 2020, by media

In their survey, published by Visual Capitalist in April 2020, the Global Web Index surveyed internet users across the U.S. and the UK on the impact the Covid-19 pandemic had on their media consumption. The majority of the Gen Z respondents ( ** percent) stated that they had started or had been watching more online videos since the outbreak of the pandemic. Considerable increases in consumption could also been identified for online TV/streaming ( ** percent), video games ( ** percent) and music streaming ( ** percent). Online and streaming content have also experienced an increase of popularity within the generation of Millenials.
