Silicon Valley Property Prices

Palo Alto House Prices Double In Ten Years

Silicon Valley is of course the heart of the US tech industry. While business is booming, so are property prices in the area, leaving some workers either having to shell out huge sums to live close to their workplaces or end up with a hefty commute to the office every day.

Over the last ten years, prices in the Palo Alto area have more than doubled. From an already high average of 1.17 million dollars in August 2006, wannabe real estate owners are now looking at a price tag of around 2.5 million.
