The UK comes second worldwide for soft power
Countries with a high soft power ranking have a strong ability to persuade others to do what they want without force or coercian and achieve influence through network building and communication. Last year, the UK was top of Portland's soft power index but in 2016, it has been knocked off top spot by the US. Read more in the indy100.
